ETH Staker Validator Workshop
- Este evento ha pasado.
The ETH Staker Community is hosting an ETH 2.0 Validator Workshop on Saturday, November 21st at 1:00 PM UTC. This will be a LIVE event that will walk through how to set up and configure an ETH 2.0 Validator from a bare-metal configuration to a functioning ETH 2.0 Validator. During the ETH Staker Validator Workshop, we’ll present how to configure your machine, install the necessary software, and sync your validator.
The ETH Staker community welcomes all ability levels to attend. We want to enable and encourage those who are interested in solo staking a Validator by creating a welcoming environment to ask any and all questions. Solo staking doesn’t have to be a difficult or lonely experience – we can do this together! Sign-up for the ETH Staker Validator Workshop below after completing the required technical prerequisites.
Things to know before attending the workshop
Before signing up for this workshop, it’s incredibly important that you understand the risks, rewards, and responsibilities involved by becoming a solo staker, in addition to understanding the overall hardware requirements necessary to run a Validator Node. We have provided two resources to help.
Please watch both of these videos to ensure that you understand what ETH 2.0 is and that you have appropriate hardware capable of running both today and is upgradable for the future. If you prefer to read instead of watching the video, please review this post for hardware requirements.
During this workshop the ETH Staker Community will help you deploy a Linux-Based validator, with an ETH1 GETH Node, and LightHouse ETH2 Client. For reference, this will be the guide we follow during the workshop.
